Nikola Rahnev | Creator of Gorata.bg Initiative Nikola is most recognizable for his creation of the largest volunteer initiative for planting new forests and trees in Bulgaria. The initiative started in 2011, and to date has planted 1.6millions trees with the help of volunteers. His target is set for 3 million trees to be planted by end of 2025.
"I hope people know me as a good person," said Nikola Rahnev, the creator of the Gorata.bg initiative, who was named "Awakener of the Year 2019" by the Bulgarian National Radio.
