Petar Naydenov is Principal Double Bass in the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and a faculty member at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).After completing his studies with the highest distinction in Bulgaria, he was engaged as Solo Double Bass player in the Bulgarian National Radio Chamber Orchestra.

Today Petar is the Artistic Director of the Allegra Festival and Academy, which began its existence in 2014 in Ruse, Bulgaria. Every year, in the second half of July, Allegra Festival and Academy provides an excellent opportunity for communication between audiences, students, and world-class distinguished teachers and performers, which turned it in just five years into a unique event in Bulgaria and a name that is becoming more and more popular not only in Europe, but world-wide.
