Martenitsa Concert 14th of March - Time Slot 3

Rodina Sydney, sponsored by the City of Sydney Council and Element ICT, in partnership with the State Library of New South Wales, presents to you, Festival Martenitsa! This is the first event of its kind initiated by Rodina Sydney. The Festival is celebrating the beginning of spring with Мартеница/Мартинка/Martisor.

Diverse program of multicultural performances from Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Romania, Moldova and others:

This ticket is for the Third Time Slot of the Concert and will include the following performances:

Groups Performing

3:00pm Polish Folkloric Ensemble “Syrenka” 

3:15pm Sydney Dance Rhythms – Romanian folk dances 

3:30pm “Kokitche” vocal group - Bulgarian Language School 

3:45pm Prize draw and Best Children Paintings awards 

4:00pm Balkan Ethno Orchestra - reinventing the sounds of the Balkans
